Stayed 2 days for a business trip. Super nice and family atmosphere. Very nice veiws from private balcony. Breakfast was very good both mornings. Made fresh and it's real food NOT the nasty fake stuff other hotels serve. Would recommend to anyone and will stay agian if I return to the area.
Most visitors to Angel Fire are there for the great outdoors. If you are granola, Elkhorn Lodge is perfect place to lay your head and have a home cooked breakfast. If you are snooty and prissy, then you probably should go to Aspen and waste your money.

Loved the vintage accommodations! The price was fair and the room was clean...that's all we needed for our little weekend getaway! We loved the balcony with the view of Angel Fire Mountains! The best part of the stay was Nancy's hospitality! We enjoyed the homey feeling of the dogs lounging around and people sitting around visiting! The made to order breakfast Nancy and crew fixed each morning for us was outstanding! Nothing fancy about the Elkhorn Lodge; just good people making you feel welcome!
