Pizza was ok. Service was ok. Overpriced even for a ski area.
Most people who take the time to comment on anything online generally complain about how something's not set to their out of town hometown standards. 500 people live here with no stop lights. That being said; this is a resort town and people from all over come to this resort. For anyone complaining about prices you obviously have no idea nor have ever been to a real pizzeria. This isn't Pizza Hut nor your crappy 5 dollar Little Caesar pizzas. Swallow your pride and realize that the man who owns this place makes everything on the entire menu from scratch. The pizza sauce is not bought nor is the dough rolls brought in on a truck i.e. Little Caesars. If you're on vacation then don't be surprised when the cost is a bit higher. It's a pathetic argument. Further more about the service; In the holiday season they hire barely english speaking international students who are coming in from the South Americas. These students are hired by the AF resort to work and most of their money is very limited so they seek a 2nd job. Considering how small a town this is don't act surprised when your glass doesn't get filled in 60 seconds or god forbid you have to wait 10mins to get your check; as if you've never waited in your hometowns. Get over yourselves. This man has been successfully in business for over 30yrs in the exact same location so obviously he's doing something right. His pizza and other foods are damn good; you just have to understand that this is basically a man's career and local folks absolutely love it. So don't sit there and complain about prices and slow service when your just an out of towner complaining about service in the absolute most crazy busy part of the year. And btw there's a long comment complaint about how someone was denied a discount bc it was advertised on their website during college week. Well, guess what? The man has never owned a website and nor does he have the internet! The place down the road does and their pizza is not as good whatsoever. Pizza Stop does however offer a 25% family dine-in discount on Thursdays. That's his only discount. So the guy's rude comment below is posted to the wrong comment section of the wrong restaurant.

Very disappointed in the service at Pizza Stop. We are visiting Angel Fire during "College Week" and Pizza Stop advertised a 15% discount with a college ID. It was posted on their website. It was also listed on the flyer and nap for college week. Yet when we showed up, they refused to give us the discount. They told us we needed a punch card, which the resort didn't have. And we showed them their OWN promotion listed on their website and they still wouldn't give us the discount. Very poor service. Will always choose to take my business somewhere else.
Wow. $35.00 for just an average pizza? I should have paid better attention to the menu. Honestly I did not look at the prices because I thought I knew what a pizza would cost. Boy was I surprised when the bill came! But his oversight of mine did give me the chance to contrast my experience of the quality of the pizza with the expected price. The pizza was not worth the price. This place is far overpriced...
